A Class Act NY acting workshops give students of all levels the unique and rare opportunity to work with Broadway actors and industry professionals, including directors, talents agents and casting directors. Former casting director Jessica Rofe Cates and actor/director Marc Tumminelli, founded A Class Act NY in 2005 by bringing their theater programs to city schools to serve as their after-school arts pro-gram. Seeing the need for quality performing arts workshops for children and teens, A Class Act NY then began their weekend workshop series. Workshops are held over one or two days and offer beginning acting programs to advanced level. All workshops are held in midtown Manhattan. In 2007, A Class Act NY will also bring their classes and workshops to Los Angeles while they continue their work in New York.
