The New York International Fringe Festival brings tasty morsels from over 1,000 theatrical performances by more than 200 troupes from every state in the U.S. and foreign countries, too. For the theatre junkie, Fringe Fest serves up a feast of theatre

featuring every genre under the sun and a few too new to be classified.
Join Fringe Al Fresco, a free event in Washington Square, where you can learn how to Fringe and sample the spirit of this year’s Festival.
Then spend a day, a week or 16 days, immersed in a plethora of dramatic presentations, from comedy to tragedy.
Then take time out to visit the free FringeART, the annual visual expression of the spirit of the Festival…or attend an interactive class or workshop at FringeU and learn all about alternative theatre |
and the lands where alternative theatre thrives…all for free.
FringeJR features two productions the entire family will enjoy and for teens, this year’s FestivalHIGH presents seven new productions, billed as “what’s on your mind, what turns you on,” and for everyone else, mix and mingle with fellow Fringers at FringeCLUB, always a highlight of every Festival. For theatergoers, it’ll be the time of your life.
