New York Botanical Gardens Tree

Description: The New York Botanical Gardens' yearly tree lighting ceremony will bring joy to kids of all ages.
Location: New York Botanical Gardens, Bronx

Christmas Tree and Neapolitan Baroque Crèche at the Met
Description
: The glow of this 20-ft candlelit tree will warm every one's heart.
Location: Metropolitan Museum of Arts, 1000 Fifth Ave., New York

Time: Every Friday and Saturday at 7p.m.

Origami Tree
Description: Tree and Neopolitan Baroque creche will be on display throughout the holiday season.
Location: The American Museum of Natural History, Central Park West at 79th St., New York

Chorus Tree

Description: This yearly tradition also includes a presentation from the Big Apple Circus

following the ceremony.

A Dickens of a Christmas
Description: Join the Staten Island Zoo for ?Dickens of a Christmas?, a celebration of the holidays going back in time to Christmases long ago! Meet Santa and some reindeers, sing along with a chorus, help us light our Christmas tree, and welcome a camel to the Zoo. 

Location: Staten Island Zoo, Staten Island

Time: 5pm - 8pm

Cost: $10 in advance, $15 at the door

 

Early December

Lincoln Center Tree
Description: This tree-lighting ceremony takes place yearly in early December at Lincoln Center?s Josie Robertson Plaza.
