Overview:
"A Dolphin Up a Tree! is story designed to teach children about differences and
cooperation. The main character, Tina Talkington casts a spell to bring her
stuffed animals to life. Then she turns herself into a Dolphin and goes up a
tree. Her animal need to learn how to cooperate in order to save her. It is very
interesting to see how each animal tries to solve the problem from his own
perspective. And so the Fox thinks that the Dolphin has to learn how to walk,
the Beaver is builds a bathtub, the Owl thinks that the Dolphin needs to fly.
And so audience members are also involved and shout out their own interpretation
of the situation. Basically the four animals, representing four human
temperaments, learn they must coexist despite their differences.
