Overview:
Celebrated playwright Michael Frayn is the genius behind this extraordinary
drama. He teamed up with director Michael Blakemore to bring to life a
tale that has all the ingredients needed to illustrate a real democracy, that is
deception, scheming and faithfulness. The last time that these two greats
got together resulted in a spellbinding play Copenhagen, winner of the
2001 Tony award for best play.
Picture West Germany in the 1960's and Willy Brandt in power. Mr. Brandt's assistant is Günter Guillaume who is also a double agent. See how this relationship evolves.
