Overview:
The king of one-man shows, Jackie Mason has returned
to Broadway with his new "Freshly Squeezed" production.

Mason, who first starred on Broadway in 1969 in the forgettable "A Teaspoon Every Four Hours", enjoyed a previous successful 3-year run on Broadway with his "Jackie Mason: The World According to Me!", which won a Tony, Emmy and Grammy award.

This time, Mason adopts a similar format but touches on such current subjects as same-sex marriages, fad diets, celebrity trials, and lots of politics.

Mason notes that he wrote the material for his new play during "an unexpected but not unpleasant" extended vacation in Florida.

" Freshly Squeezed" has already made the rounds of regional theater including stops in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Quebec, and several Florida cities where it was highly critically-acclaimed by fans of the Jewish comedian who once believed his life-calling was in the religious world.
