Overview:
Louisa May Alcott's vibrant portrayal of the life in New England during the
nineteenth century. A life that was quiet, secure, and prolific is the basis for
this new musical. The unforgettable characters that we remember from long
ago live once again. The March sisters are coming of age in Civil War New
England.
The leading role of gifted Jo March is played by Sutton Foster who won the 2002 Tony Award for Thoroughly Modern Millie. Broadway star Maureen McGovern plays the role of the other March sister. The musical is directed by Susan H Schulman.
