The Bentley Hotel is located on New York's fashionable east side but there's nothing pretentious about this establishment. Overlooking the East River, the hotel offers not only wonderful views of the water, so the kids can watch the boats coming in and out of the harbor, but of the skyline as well. Guest rooms are decorated in friendly warm hues of mossy green and taupe, complete with snuggly down comforters.
Though this boutique-style hotel isn't big on amenities due to space restrictions, parents will enjoy the 24-hour cappuccino bar and kids will want to make the trip to the rooftop restaurant, where visitors can experience the glitz and glamour of New York at night. There's also a library lounge located near the lobby where visitors can relax and enjoy a good book or borrow one to read in their room. Within easy walking distance of the art nouveau Bentley Hotel are Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, a handful of terrific museums, and Central Park, where families can enjoy a picnic or a tour of the park's many sites. |
