Location: E. 67th St., New York
For children of all ages, this playground is just north of the Children‘s Zoo. It is one of the most beautifully landscaped playgrounds with many rustic features, a stone bridge, a 45 foot-long spiral granite slide, an amphitheater-like seating area, gazebo, toddler swings, a water feature, and two picnic tables. Renovated in 1985, this playground is unique in design. It incorporates a number of horticultural features, creating a rustic cool atmosphere. The playground equipment is constructed of white cedar.
