Carmine‘s Restaurant in New York City is the brain child of Artie Cutler, Michael Ronis and Godfrey Polistina. Enter the most prominent of Italian restaurant‘s in the city and feel as though you have come to share a meal at a friend‘s house where the food is served family style, that is, large platters of scrumptious offerings to everyone to share. Although the place was opened about 15 years ago, the setting looks from the 1920‘s.
The menu boasts of such classics as Stuffed Artichokes and Fried Calamari.
There is plenty of succulent red sauce, flavored with garlic and basil, to go around as in the variety of pastas, chicken and shrimp dishes.
And leave room for dessert. You won‘t regret it!
