Location: Harmony Atrium, 61 W. 62nd St., New York
ExtraVertical is a public climbing gym and shop located inside the Harmony Atrium. They have 3,000 square feet of climbing, including 16 top ropes. They also have the tallest wall in the city, a 50 foot covered outdoor lead wall open year round! The indoor 30 foot portion of the wall is heated in the winter. For your convenience, lockers, changing room, and a retail shop with an array of climbing gear, videos, books, and drinks and snacks are available. Kids Classes: Kids classes are offered year round. Whether your child is just starting out or an experienced climber, these classes will improve their confidence, discipline, technique, and overall knowledge of climbing.
