Location: Giants Stadium, East Rutherford
The New York Giants play in New Jersey. But they are beloved by fans in the Big Apple, where they’ve been a popular fixture since 1925. And there are legions of supporters all over the nation for this NFL team, which has a pair of Super Bowl wins.
The team plays its home games in 80,000-seat Giants Stadium, part of the Meadowlands Sports Complex, which also includes Continental Airlines Arena and Meadowlands Racetrack.
There are few experiences as exciting as a capacity stadium crowd cheering a touchdown, and this venue offers all that and more.
Even without game action, the stadium – decked out in red, white and blue team colors – is impressive, boasting an unparalleled view of the Manhattan skyline.
Football and food go together, and families will enjoy the variety of concessions from 40 stands and 70 carts. There’s the usual fare like hot dogs, but those with more adventurous tastes will want to try the homemade knishes, Italian sausages or cheese steaks.
And kids will want to visit the souvenir vendors and take home a Giants keepsake after their first pro football game with dad!
