Location: South Shore Center, 3939 Richmond Avenue, Staten Island
One of 20 YMCA branches throughout the greater NYC area, Staten Island YMCA serves families with both adult activities and programs for kids. Youth programs include childcare, after-school learning enhancement, evening teen center, computer training, swimming/sports training and college prep courses. A “youth passport” costs just 5 dollars and enables kids to participate in activities focusing on academic, physical or social development.
Adults can sign up for a wide variety of instructional classes including dance, Pilates, drawing, boxing, weight training, judo, karate, senior’s internet training and more. Staten Island YMCA offers individuals and families opportunities for growth at every stage in life.
